HospiceCare’s educational and support services are available to all residents of our communities. Our Grief and Education Center, which opened in May, 2005, is dedicated to serving as the premier resource for grief and end-of-life education support in our communities. Located at 1585 Patton Drive in Boulder, we offer a variety of support groups for all ages, phone consultations and referrals, trainings and presentations, and special events throughout the year to support those experiencing loss at any point in their process. Our Healing Circles program focuses specifically on supporting children, teens and their families through loss.
We help our communities understand and integrate the process of loss, death and grief as a complex, challenging and natural part of life.
We use volunteers in our office and in all of our support programs with kids, teens and adults. We screen, train and support all our volunteers to help them give our grieving individuals and families the best care possible. If you are interested in volunteering with our program, please contact our Volunteer Services program at 303.604.5210.
The HospiceCare Grief and Education Center is not a 24-hour mental health resource. For a mental health emergency or crisis, please call the Mental Health Center serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties at 303.447.1665 in Boulder County, and 303.446.3007 in Broomfield County.
