HospiceCare’s Labyrinth is a gift for our entire community and available to walk at any time. This 50-foot rock labyrinth is a single, continuous path that takes you to its center and back. By walking, you experience the journey of life, both inner and outer. Not to be confused with a maze, which is designed to confound and confuse, the labyrinth has no tricks. It simply represents the path of life, the opportunity to reconnect and remember your center. And it all happens by simply putting one foot in front of the other. No obstacles. No dead ends.

There is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth. Walkers may embark on the labyrinth as a meditation, a prayer, or simply as a way to experience something new. It’s fine to pause anywhere along the path, and sit or stand in the center for as long as desired. The only guideline for walking a labyrinth is to be open to whatever happens there.

For over 4,000 years, people from cultures around the globe have walked various forms of labyrinths to deepen their connection to the quiet. We invite you to join them in this ancient practice. For more information, please call 303.449.7740.
