Becoming a Volunteer

Camp Erin Volunteers

If you'd like to volunteer for this amazing opportunity, enjoy being around kids and teens, have time available for training AND the August 10-12 camp, let us know. Step One: Application.

Complete and submit an online volunteer application form or to become a Camp Erin volunteer complete and submit this online application.

Step Two: Interview.

We will contact you for a personal interview. During the interview, we’ll learn more about your skills and interests to find a position that is fulfilling for you and beneficial to the patients and families we serve.

Step Three: Orientation & Training.

Orientation and training times vary.

Administrative and thrift shop volunteers participate in a 1 to 2-hour orientation and receive on-the-job training.

Patient care and grief support volunteers complete a longer, 20-hour core training course that is scheduled three times a year and additional, specialized training tailored to specific areas of service.

Camp Erin volunteers complete a 15-hour training course that is scheduled once a year in late spring/early summer.
